Paul McVeigh Vs Chris David – Eurofight Xtreme

With Eurofight Xtreme’s massive MMA just around the corner… Paul McVeigh and Chris David are now resting in preparation for their big fight… but they have said a final few words before they meet in the cage this weekend.

[Scotland] Paul “Metabolic” McVeigh v Chris David [USA]

Paul McVeigh

Paul McVeigh:

I am looking forward to Eurofight Extreme and what will be my greatest achievement so far in the sport. Chris David is one of the best fighters on the planet and by going through him I can be seen as a force at an international level. I think what the Scottish fans can expect to see is two hyper aggressive guys at the top of their games trying to end each other for everyone entertainment.

Chris David

Chris David:

I’m not your American Patriot-type but it is a fun fact that I am undefeated off US soil and it might be interesting to mention. This is because I really do get supernatural powers when I am BOOed, so to make a mention of that might help me achieve the portrayal of a villain, which I am more familiar with than not and it always makes for more an exciting fight regardless. I have 7 fights (recorded on sherdog) and 4 fights (unrecorded) between my fights in Mexico and Japan. So either 6-0-1 according to sherdog or 10-0-1 counting (small mma events unrecorded) As far as fighting out of America.

Eurofight Xtreme – Date Changed – 17th October

Eurofight Xtreme’s first event has had to be postponed until the 17th October 2009.

Today we received news from the management at the Braehead Arena (Glasgow, Scotland) that the venue did not apply for a licence from the local authority to build a 3ft high platform below the cage for viewing purposes. This ultimately means that the show is being put back to October 17th 2009, so be sure to change your calenders!

The local authority who own the venue have a minimum turnaround of 28 days to process the permission/licence and we have been forced to postpone the event to the next available Saturday evening at the venue which is October 17th!!

Eurofight Xtreme will be working to secure extra fights as some other fighting commitments, but have also secured a new fight between our very own Paul “Metabolic” McVeigh vs a formidable opponent, Chris David – who we are flying in especially from the USA.

We are looking for fighters for October 17th show, so if you want to fight on this world class event – contact our matchmaker, John : matchmaker -at- eurofightxtremefc -dot- com – or click here: Contact Eurofight Xtreme
